jobless but not hopeless
I've been jobless for a couple of days now, and I'm aware that I'm the bread winner in our family being the only child, I don't have savings, I'm a one day Millionaire.
Now, time has come, this is it, I'm jobless, I know, I understand..Im jobless, but guess what, I'm not hopeless.
Finding a descent job now a days is really hard, but I do believe that dificult takes time and impossible takes a little longer. They say effort equals result, some says, hardwork and determination is what we need.
I'm the type of person who always read attitude enhancing articles and inspiring quotes, watch inspiring movies and when I was still in Saudi Arabia, this friend of mine encourage me to watch the movie " The Pursuit of Happyness", starring Will Smith as Chris Gardner, a man who is homeless but not hopeless, he is a self made Millionaire.
Chris was forced by his landlord to move out from his apartment because he cant afford to pay the rent. He sleeps in public bathrooms, train stations and foster homes together with his son.
While standing in front of a high rise building, this red ferrari cought his attention and he asked the owner of that car with these two questions, Chris said "Man, I got two questions for you, what do you do and how do you do it? The owner of the red ferrari answers, "I'm a stock brooker" then a follow-up question " you have to go to college to become a stock brooker right? man said"not really, as long as you're good with numbers and good with people, that's it."
According to Chris, you have to find that thing that get you so excited that the the sun can't come up early enough in the morning 'cause you wanna go do your thing, and that thing for him is to become a Stock Broker.
"Don't ever let other people tell you that you can't do something, other people can't do some to themeselves and then they would tell you that you can't do it. You have a dream, go get it."
Very inspiring, right?
And to those who are also looking for their dream job or business or whatever it is that you want to achieve, you can do anything, just set your mind, and always remember...its a choice!
